You will be trained by some of  the most knowledgeable and experienced instructors in the industry. Our courses are taught by a very qualified technical team including two chemists, a medical doctor and a retired tax attorney. Expert Guest Lab Speakers also teach periodically. Your instructors hold degrees enabling you to learn in a logical, but technical manner. Their combined years of experience in the Environmental Field exceed fifty years. Additionally, you will learn the legal aspects of the business, and have access to legal assistance on a continuing basis.

The participants of this one-day or online course will understand the basic principles of indoor air quality contamination including fungal (mold) and other allergen contamination in residential & commercial structures. Students will learn and indicate one’s knowledge of the IESO (Indoor Environmental Standards Organization) sampling and assessment standards. This will include equipment usage in swabs, tape, air sampling for cultureable and spore trap cassettes, dust collection, and the standard for inspecting  structures for IAQ contamination. Students will learn the proper procedures for the paperwork involved (i.e. chain of custody forms and laboratory reports). In addition, they will acquire a fundamental understanding of laboratory reports and how to interpret the results from those reports according to recognized guidelines.

"I have been involved in Indoor Air Quality for 11 years. The E.P.A has stated that Indoor air pollution is the number one environmental problem in the U.S. Although one could make a good living dealing with Air and Water purification, I came to learn that I was not doing a complete service for my customers.

Many of my customers suffered with allergies, asthma, sinus conditions. The air purifier would eliminate many of the contaminates floating in the air but I needed to get to the root of the problem. I heard about a great course that was being given on becoming a mold inspector.
I signed up for the course and during the class my eyes were opened for the first time to the inspection of mold through the eyes of science. Besides offering a more complete service to my customer, I have also been able to double my income by offering an inspection and the solution.
